The European Surveillance of Sexually Transmitted Infections (ESSTI) network, at its third collaborative group meeting on 27-28 May 2004, established two working groups to facilitate information exchange on lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV), following the emergence of outbreaks in men who have sex with men (MSM) in cities in western Europe ; and to appraise options for strengthening HIV/STI prevention activities in MSM in the European Union (EU). |
