The aim of the study is to appreciate quality of life after acute myocardial infarction and to induce some methodological conclusions about quality of life assessment. Quality of life is appreciated whith the help of two methods (analogic scale and quality of life questionnaire) and results can be compare. Questionnaire considers 3 aspects of quality of life : physical, social and psychological disturbances. Considering 37 eligibled patients, after one year, quality of life coefficient is 0.84 : one year of survival is equal to 10 months of well-being. Results according to the 2 evaluation means are not significantly different. The 2 methods can be used without limits, provided that you defined the precision needed for the study : having a 3 dimensional results, or results on only one dimension. Nevertheless, to assess quality of life every week seems not to be appropriated. (Résumé d'auteur).
