The theory of agency usually leads to some complications : adverse selection and/or moral hazard. We propose a model to test the moral hazard hypothesis in case in myocardial infarction. Thus, we consider some variables which can explain ambulatory costs during one year after myocardial infarction in a 153 size-sample. Our results showed expenditure is more than twice higher when patients had complementary insurance, everything being equal. So, moral hazard explanation can be held to describe the importance of ambulatory costs, but it was not the only variable to be considered. (Résumé d'auteur).
