Collecting information about workplace practises of self-employed home-care nurses to prevent transmission of bloodborne pathogens. Method and population. Between November 1993 and February 1995,49 Flemish self-employed home-care nurses were invited to complete a confidential, one page questionnaire. Results. 28.6% of the 49 participants reported not been vaccinated against hepatitis B.
