| Résumé : | Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is a cornerstone of lupus treatment but carries a risk of retinal toxicity with prolonged use. Monitoring for hydroxychloroquine-induced maculopathy is essential, yet documentation of related follow-up and treatment decisions is often embedded in unstructured electronic health records (EHRs), limiting systematic analysis. This project aimed to develop and validate a rule-based natural language processing (NLP) pipeline to extract clinically relevant information on HCQ exposure, maculopathy, ophthalmology follow-up, and treatment discontinuation from French EHR data. |
