| Résumé : | Conducted is Oslo, Norway in August 1992, the second international conference on theories of carcinogenesis concentrated on discussion of theories, both current and older, while also attempting to formulate new ones. The participants tried to create a system by using all existing fragmentary knowledge about cancer and carcinogenesis. Covering a wide range of topics, the resulting papers include cell proliferation, metastasis, oncogenes, carcinogenes, genetic alterations, viruses, immuology, and radiation. Also detailed are public attitudestoward cancer, as well as attitudes of professionals in cancer research. |
