| Résumé : | Prior research suggests that cortisol levels and anxiety levels are regulated by daily circadian rhythms. Changes in cortisol and anxiety levels may exist in night shift workers as a result of circadian rhythm disruption. Analyses included 49 maleshiftworkers between the ages of 18-65 who were employed in a car factory in Barcelona. These results suggest that shift work causes circadian disruption, whichis associated with changes incortisol and anxiety levels. (R.A.) |
