[BDSP. Notice produite par INIST-CNRS biX3R0xn. Diffusion soumise à autorisation]. Cross-sectional survey data on Swedish adolescents aged 12-18 was used to estimate the link between individual social capital and smoking, illicit drug use and binge drinking. Major conclusions drawn were (1) that social capital, indicated by measures of social participation and trust, was negatively correlated with the probability of smoking and illicit drug use, but (2) that social capital showed no statistically significant correlation with the probability of binge drinking.
